We went to Outer Island, Stony Creek. This is a bird sanctuary managed in part by SCSU. We met our guide, Karen Thomas at the dock. From there it was a short ferry to the Island where we spent 4-5 hours painting.
The Island is a granite outcropping. The photo doesn't do the Island justice but it gives you some idea of just how peaceful it can be.
