Lake Powell Dam

We walked across Lake Powell Dam with the wind howling, ripping hats off of our heads and pushing one sideways.

With the wind already effecting my sense of balance vertigo quickly set in as soon as I looked through the chain link fence down to the base of the Dam.

An unfortunate by product of the wind was the cancellation of our river rafting trip through the canyon.



If you look closely on the left, you can see the rafts at the bottom of the canyon.
