Lake Powell Sunrise

We saw some spectacular sunrise and sunsets while on tour. Perhaps one of the best was at Lake Powell with the ravens flying across the morning sky.

The intensity of color, with warm reds, yellows and violets the against the sun washed backdrop of the mountains and plateaus was worth the early morning awake up call.

What you can't see in the painting is the wind which blew a strong cold breeze in from the water.
