Routine Disruptions

Well for the past three weeks or so my daily schedule has been dramatically altered.

1. We got a dog about three weeks ago. Scooter is a wonderful dog
2. Scooter needs lots of walks. Generally a mile or so before breakfast and a mile in the afternoon.
   
3. Between my daily swim and weekly racquetball, and now daily walks with Scooter, my energy/time for painting has been disrupted. I'm working on finding time to get back to painting.
   
4. A couple of days ago, my wife got a second dog. Scout is an eight month old Terrier mix. Scout needs lots of attention.
   
5. Yesterday after the area received 4-5 inches of rain our home flooded. The water overflowed the banks of the "Muddy River" entered the garage and also percolated up through the cement and tile flooring in my studio. The sump pump kept most of the water out of the house. The amount that got in the house proper was about a half inch.
   
6. Lots of mopping today.
